Wakefield Round 1 Pics (2010)

Postby boingk » Mon Mar 01, 2010 9:40 am

Here we go guys, couple of the better pictures I managed to take while I was helping flag. If you especially want a high-res copy or for me to see if I got a pic of you then I can trawl through them and have a look. Here we go...

And the sidecars I got decent photos of. Brilliant one of two passing side by side in a corner, was great to watch.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, and I've had a few requests for images so far - hope you enjoy! If anyone else wants me to have a look through my stash of photos for one of them etc etc then just shoot me a PM and I'll upload the high-res version and send you the link.

Meanwhile, heres a few more photos (sorry about the blurring!):

Nice work Jeda, especially the one of No. 43 - saw him go like the clappers one lap and then he must of come off the next. Didn't manage to get a pic of him for the reat of the day, but geez he was hooking it on that little bike... :D

Meanwhile I forgot to mention, to anyone thats got a high-res picture I took, that if you open it up with MS paint (right click > open with > MS Paint) then hit Ctrl + W, then type in 28 for width and 28 for height in the box that comes up and hit 'Ok'...the image will be rendered in a more internet-freindly 640 x 480 size. For reference thats the size of my images above.

Cheers eveyone - boingk

BTW, For Round 2 who will photograph the photographer? :?

Boingk, If you're talking about the Barry Sheene, I'll be there with my camera as I won't be racing. I'll be racing next at Wakefield again.

Dan! What are you doing crashing!?!? I saw the pics. That can't be doing your neck any good. And make sure your points from the amatuer class carry over when they put you in the pro class. On the natsoft site it looked like you got changed over and so lost your points from your am races.

Your times in the practice were great though!

Oh yeah thats right sell the dirt bike and dont crash was the deal
mmm well I was just sort of finding the boundaries in the wet
not good eh
times were down there for geoff and Ian through the day as well
makes me wonder how fast these things have gone around there, with such similar lap times it would have made for closer racing if either one of us wasnt starting from pit lane or the back of the grid for some reason or other
doesnt it make you want you want to buy your engine back, to make up the four way for the rest of the season Dean
I'll check those points, what site was that on?

The site with the times is
www.natsoft.biz
Just follow the links from there.

I would love to be in there wobbling around again (ok, maybe not in the wet) but as you know, I'd have to do more than just buy back my engine  Rules is rules.
Why don't we build motolights for next year :D Then I don't have to explain to my friends how I won, even though there were 10 bikes in front of me.
